Glutenfri granola med sesam, solrosfrön och russin

Gluten-free granola with sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and raisins

This gluten-free granola is both easy to prepare, made without white refined sugar and vegan! It is also oil-free. This granola contains raisins, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, maple syrup, cinnamon and cardamom - but feel free to experiment with your favourites. For example, try adding coconut chips, apricots, walnuts or dates.

Ingredients 1 jar:

2 cups gluten-free rolled oats
1/2 cup sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup raisins
2 tbsp maple syrup or 3 chopped soft dates (can be excluded, or be replaced with rice syrup or date syrup)
1/2 tbsp cardamom
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
A pinch of salt
1/2 cup water

Instructions:

1. Set the oven on 210 C degrees, convection oven.
2. Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, except from the raisins.
3. Add the maple syrup or the dates (or other sweetener), water and mix well with your hands (squeeze it with your hands). The granola should be crumbly.
4. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until dry. Mix meantime so it doesn't get burned.
5. Add the raisins and mix.

Tips for those who want a unsweetened granola is to make it in the same way, just skip the dates, maple syrup and raisins.
